Monterey Institute of International Studies

The main goals of the internship are for students to improve scientific English communication skills and to practice scientific oral/poster presentations.
GE Healthcare Life Sciences,
Uppsala R&D
Selected students will undergo a rotation in GE healthcare Life Sciences R&D laboratory in Uppsala, Sweden. Through research activities, students are trained in scientific English, obtain technical discussion and presentation skills, and expected to learn about research development.
University of Turku, BioCity Turku

Our program Professor Masayuki Miyasaka is a Finland Distinguished Professor at the MediCity Laboratory, one of the laboratories located within the BioCity Turku, the University of Turku, where he welcomes students who complete the 3-week internship at the GE Healthcare Life Sciences (described above).
The University Medical Center Groningen, Groningen, the Netherlands
The Graduate School of Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN) run 25 years at the University Medical Center Groningen (UMCG). BCN is a graduate school collaborated by five faculties, with the primary research and educational focuses on understanding the neurobiological bases of behavioral and cognitive phenomena.
This internship includes working on a research project at a lab and taking BCN courses with students at the UMCG. One-two students may be selected.
