Our own student, Rathina Kumar Shanmuga Kani (2nd year of the program: 2014 enrollment class: Graduate School of Medicine, in the laboratory of Infection Control and Prevention, led by Professor Kazunori Tomono), received the APSIC travel award for the best abstract presented at the 8th International APSIC Congress which was held in Bangkok, Thailand from February 12-15, 2017.

His diligent efforts in research well deserve the prize. Congratulations to Rathina Kumar Shanmuga Kani.
