Interdisciplinary Program for Biomedical Sciences (IPBS) | Osaka University, Institute for Academic Initiatives, Program for Leading Graduate Schools

The 1st IPBS International Symposium, with the University of Medical Center
Groningen, will be held on March 10th, 2014 (Monday) on the research topic
of Microglia in Aging, Development, and Neurological Disorders. 　
Location: Hankyu Sanwa Hall, Suita Campus, Osaka University 
Time: 1:00PM-5:20PM (Registration begins at noon.)

Our three guest lecturers are Professor Erik H. W. G. M. Boddeke and
Assistant Professor Bart Eggen from the University of Medical Center
Groningen, Department of Neuroscience, Medical Physiology Section; and
Professor Junichi Nabekura from the National Institute for Physiological
Sciences.

Two of our program faculty, Professor Yasushi Okamura and Professor
Yoshihide Yamashita from the Graduate School of Medicine will also lecture
on their recent research findings.
