A new international student, Dr. Gajanan Subhash Revankar from India joined the IPBS on October 1, 2016.

The 2016 IPBS New Student Orientation was held on October 6. Prior to the orientation, a welcome reception for Dr. Revankar was held after the mini-retreat on October 3.
